Because the countershaft low-low first gear is so small, it is machined on the countershaft. In addition to that, you will need a different second-gear countershaft gear because the regular gear is a cluster gear with first and second made from the same chunk of metal. You will also need a new reverse idler gear. Finally, you will need a new mainshaft first gear. There may be misc parts such as spacers and bearings.There is a slim chance that tranny parts from a 460 will fit and give you a low-low first. I wouldn't count on it, but to be sure, you would have to consult both parts books. If it did work, it is likely that your PTO would not work. I mention the above because I installed 560 gears and bearings in a SMTA transaxle. I got a low-low first and, when it was multiplied by the lower speed differential, it is very slow. I did the math at some point, and first gear was less than half of stock. I think it was around .7 mph at rated rpm. The factory recommends that tractors (Farmall M) equipped with the low-low option use a wide front and four front wheel weights. I suspect there is some crop that used the low-low set-up. Perhaps a tree nursery for transplanting. I dunno. Maybe somebody else does.
