Is the implement mounting point size of the 1 point fast hitch for the cub the same size as the 2 point fast hitch for the 200, 230 etc?

Well I can tell you this I have a 1956 Cub I bought from the orignal owner and I have the bill of sale to say that the fast hitch is from 1956 as well. With that said I drove by a junk pile in front of a guys house of farm parts he was selling. There in the pile was a 2 point cut off a super C implement of some kind. I gave the man $10 for it and left. I have since cut the prongs off and have mounted them to home made Cub implments for my cubs and those super c 2 points worked just fine. I did have to add the piece of steel that goes up like a tail fin to keep it from moving side to side but other than that it was a perfect fit.

Chad: I knew I was right, the very first Cubs used the small fork, same as SC or 200. IH changed the 2 point on the 240 in 58 to large forks. I'll almost bet they changed the Cub in 58 as well.

No, they are different.

The Cub uses the larger point like the 300/350/400/450/460/560 tractors.

About all I know about Cubs is what neat little tractors they are. There is, though, a Web site devoted to them that has about as much information as you can find.
Good luck, Wm

59: The 100, 130 and 140 use the large fork. I have not looked at a Cub since I saw the first new one in 1955, or there abouts. It had the small fork like SC and 200. Now, I do know what I saw, and I do know the difference.

Having said that, the folks here on YT discussion now tell me all 1 point fast hitches were large size fork. I suspect the small fork didn't last long. The same thing happened with SC, 200, 230 and 240. the first 3 are small fork and 240 is large fork. I've even seen 230s with large fork hitch.

I think we can safely say small fork disappeared by 1958. I'd even bet Cub was changed at same time.
