I'm to the point where I have to put in the new seal, And need some tips on putting it all together so it wont leak again. Ive never had to put in a felt rear seal and want to do it right the first time. Also is it important to use a Rubber Rear Seal? Thanks for the help

A rubber type seal is a little more forgiving of crankshaft play caused by loose bearings.

A felt seal will work fine provided that the bearing clearance is within specs, the crankcase ventilation systems is working properly, and the there is not too much cylinder blowby. Warped seal retainers can also cause a leak between the retainers and the block.
