Hey guys, When I first got my tractor, I was checking things out, and wanted to fix the switch on the backup light. Well, I thought it was just a sealed beam headlight like the fronts, so I go and take the rings off and out falls the lens and breaks. Then I see its not the way I thought it was. Its been without a lens for a long time and I get tired of hearing it rattle. Im also going to do a 12v conversion, so I wanna hook this light back up and get it working good, so I need a replcement lens. Does anyone have one they want to get rid of of know where i could get one relatively cheap? I'd like to keep the original red light in there as well. If I cant find a lens, I'll probably just take the old reflector out and put in a standard sealed beam headlight if one will fit, and put the reflector in with all the other original stuff I took off. i decided to do this for in the event of a sale, The new owner would have as much of the original stuff as possible in case he was looking for a restorer. Also, both of my front spindles are bent, normally this is a slight bit of camber on both spindles, now one side has alot of camber and the other has no camber. I'm assuming it coincides with the fel arms being bent a hair on the left side, like somebody crashed into something in road gear. Yes I have inspected much of the casting to ensure nothing is cracked and it all looks good, and I have the fel arms compensated for. Just wondered if these things are expensive? I dont need to replace them, but Just wondered. Wish I'd have seen it bnefore I bought it, could gotten it cheaper, but hindsight is 20/20.Considering I did no real test drive and it was more of an impulse buy, I faired pretty well. Didnt know alot about tractors back then. I nknew enough from my auto expereience to check the engine out good tho. 300u BTW
