The wife, kid and I had a great time up there on Sat. My computer is acting stupid again or I'd put on some pics. I think it has A.D.D.
Anyway, alot of good people up there, I just couldn't talk to everyone I wanted, I still have some questions on my F-12. I did have a problem with that place though. I couln'd be everywhere at once:>)

I missed out on steel front wheels for F-12. I did get a brand new kero manifold though. You guys will probaly shoot me if I told you what I paid for it. $190. I just couldn't pass that up. Heck, old, rotted, and busted up ones were marked for $200. Only thing is that the heat riser is manual on the fuel tank side instead of stickin straight out for the linkage to hook to. I think I can deal with that for that price. Real good show guys, It was one of the better ones I've been at. Doug

I also had a great time - and learned a lot, too. Plus, I got to meet a lot of the regular guys from the forum while there. It was my first RPRU, so I had nothing to which to compare it. But, I thought it was great. I was also impressed with how beautiful that part of Pennsylvania was. Also, got some good parts for the Super H while there. mike

I wasnt aware new kerosene manifolds were being made, is it NOS?

I'm a little confused here myself. The manifold that is supposed to be on my F-12 has the heat riser shaft coming out of the back of the manifold for the linkage to hook to with the exhaust coming out next to the carb. The one I got new for it has the manual heat riser shaft towards the fuel tank, and the exhaust coming out of the front runner. I knew that they were different when I bought it.

So there are two different styles(which I knew). What was the difference between the 2? The years maybe? Or is there a distillate manifold, and a Kerosene manifold, or is that one in the same? In PA I was always remember hearing it called either an "All fuel" or a "Kerosene" manifold. This site is the first I've heard of "Distillate" What is distillate considered? Thanks, Doug

Looks to me like a "gasoline only" manifold with a flapper added to restrict the esxhaust.

Thats the generic replacment manifold. It can be used with Kerosene, nut you havbe to adjust the flapper at the manifold instead of with the rod. Thats the same one I have. Thats why you see so many with the hoods cut. The factory pipe wont work right, or so Im told, and most of the time the hood ws cut instead of a new pipe being made.

i have a md..... It has the later style M&W 9 speed plus charylynn power stear! I need to get it going though. It not putting power to the mag..... I can get it ti run on diesel but i dont wanna reck anything else if there is somthing lose. I tought about selling it for exactly what i paid 2100. when equiped like the one i have they go aroung 3400-3800 around my neck of the woods. So even if i stick 1000 into her i will still be doing good. If the guy dosent email me tonight i might conseder selling it. i really dont wanna sell it! But i will if some one wants it within the the next couple of days. i only advertised on yt free ad. not the pic adds but just the word add. im in no hurry ti sell it but i thought if someone wanted it more then me i would let them have it. I will have her working by next weekend hopfully. if i can get the parts. once fixed i would not let it go for less then 3000. Jonnny2006

were there any MV high crops there? if so where they for sale? what was the price? if the rpru wasent so far from my house then a would of bought two and brought them out. i herd of them going for 10-12 grand a pieace for old beat up ones. I seen a surper MV-TA on RFD tv the other day! super was nice. I was gonna buy one of the high crops but afer sitting on one and climing up to it I was having second thoughts..... I really could get another stage 2 super H for that price and have change left over. (4000 is what he wants. i should be able to pick up a old restored super H with wide front for 3800 or less not a perfect restore but an older restore.

Yeah, there were a few MV tractors. They were real nice. Out by the fence row next to O.E.M parts there was a guy who had a 460 High for 12,500, a MV that was pretty rough(can't see price on my pic), and I beleive it was a 400 High(can't see price) I wasn't really payin too much attention to price on tractors. I do remember seeing a restored F-12 that the guy was askin $20,00. I thought that was ridiculous. Maybe 20 yrs from now. The tractor I can't get out of my head is the Super MD-TA I saw. Big bucks there. wasn't for sale. I'd like to get another MD after I finish restorin the F-12. I love our MD, that tractor is fun! Doug
