I used the scizzors and a tupper where bowl to keep bolts in and she acted like i killed someone! I thought it was just common practice that men us tuff out of the kitchen in our shop and garages. I also used a turkey baster to oil up some bolts and nuts one time. I told her i would get her a new one but she acts like it cannot be replaced. What is your favorite kitchen item to use in the garage?

Well actually the opposite, she took my easy off can of oven cleaner to clean her oven!

my personal favorites are when she finds her freezer food in the ice box on ice because you have your tractor engine sleeves in her freezer to shrink so you can put them in the block, or when you accidently stink up the whole house for days because you got the bright idea to "bake" the paint on your tractor lights or other small parts in her kitchen oven

Using a screen strainer when draining oil from a newly aquired tractors engine and transmission to check for metal parts or shavings. Boy, its hard to clean 60 year old gear oil from fine screen.

A good friend of mine showed me a very large spoon his Grandma used to make gravy with and told me his Grandpa once took it out to the shop and melted plumbers lead in it, cleaned it up and put it back in the drawer! She never new! Just last week I used the freezer and oven to put gears on a shaft and to get a stuck bolt out. I used to use the dishwasher to clean non greasy parts. (no I was not married then!)

I refused to answer because my answer "might" incriminate me.

Don't see anything wrong with that, after all, I am always bringing my shop tools into the house to fix things that need fixin'. I even used a brand new hydraulic hose for the water supply line when I installed the new dishwasher awhile back.

I use easy off or other oven cleaner to clean gunked up stuff sometimes. Works as good as Gunk or Engine Brite on grease and grime.

I have used, usually old, muffin tins to hold bolts to keep separated when disassembling something.

I asked my wife to bake 8 tall cakes. She baked them with a smile and love.

I used them to prop up the front bolster assembly after a tractor split.

My wife isn't a good cook.

I use my Mom's scissors to cut the electrical wire when I can't find the wire stripper.

Don't take apart a Generator in the sink!! Or a Mag on the counter top. I had a towel under both of them so nothing got dirty but she didn't see it that way!

"Could I borrow a bit of baking soda?" "Yea, and don't bring the box back in the house."

Don't even have to go to the store for any.
