I was hoping that someone will save these two tractors from the scrap man.... He only wants 500 a piece for them. i dont know what they are worth at a scrap yard but i''m sure he would not turn down a reasonable offer. any idea of how amny of each were made? They have to be more rare then the H and M's because they never made a row crop version of the 9 series. How many horse power were the 9 series? im guessing around 40. i don't know. I would hate to see them go but i'm just to far to come and get them....There has to be someone on here that wants to have one!

w-9 was about 45 hp at the draw bar, the super wd-9 was about 58hp at the draw bar. they are a comfortable tractor to drive. dualed up and loaded, they can pull pretty good. great for yanking out stumps too!!!!

We are in the panhandle near Snyder, where are the tractors? They probably weigh about 4 ton each, so they would bring about $500 for scrap, so that is probably why tehy are price dat $500.

They did not make a rowcrop version of the 9 series because the 9 series is the standard version of the M Rowcrop.

The 9 series comes in standard and industrial versions, there are no row crop versions.

Actually, no. According to Guy Fay's Letter Series book, the 6 series is the standard version of the M. They share the engine and some other parts. The 9 series has no row crop version, as it was designed primarily to pull very large pull-behind implements in open fields such as wheat and rice.

Sorry, I thought he has talking about a W6. I already know about the W4 & W6.

OK, but why did you type in the number 9 twice? President Clinton didn't admit he was wrong and look at the trouble it caused him.

Perhaps he was standing on his head as he typed? Cut the kid some slack! :)
