I got that liftall pump out, you guys were right, that pump was heavy! But it come out with no problem at all. But after I got that out I think I got an idea of what happend. One of the bolts was loose on the U-joint and fell out, (nothing looks wrong with it) and the may have let that shaft torque one way and broke the release sleeve carrier and sheared a bolt that holds it to the case. I have not got it out yet, but that is all that it looks to be broke. Well I imagine I wont have much luck finding just that piece. So If you guys would happen to have one that I could purchase or know where I could get one along with the bearing, I would be very happy.

Thanks for the help, Derek

The Clutch release carrier is available right here on the YT site. Go to parts on LH side of screen.

That part is called the clutch release sleeve, IH part 6758D. I expect you can still get a new one from and IH dealer, as this is a frequently problem part. It's aluminum or some other soft metal. The YT system won't let me post the info, but the part is available from an aftermarket supplier. Send me an E mail and I'll supply more details.

I thought I was lucky that mine didn't break. It was making a slight clicking sound and the clutch shaft was moving in and out of the housing some. It got real loud when I hitched up a BIG cherry logand pulled it about 2 feet before I shuter down. Ther is a guy who has a lot of M parts just south of me, but not sure if he ships. If you have troble finding one let me know and I will try to find his number.
