Hey ever on how are you doing? Well a little wile ageo I bought a 41 farmall A from a little old lady down the road from me. Well she has a bunch of land and she told me to go out to the old barn and there might be some stuff for the A. Well I went out there and I found this. That has been a wile ageo. For the past 4 weeks she has not bee doing good and she has been in the er and stuff. Well I went to go see her and we was talkind about the baler and she askd me if I want to buy it and I told her yes but Im tight on money right now. But I said there is a tree fixing to grow thrue the baler is it ok if I go cut it down and she said yes. So today I went over there to cut the tree well I found where it said case on it. So of corse I had to play with it and come to find out the big gears still turn. The only thing thats not moveing is the thing that packs the hay tight. its Some big block. Well What I want to know is What year is it and if there is any thing else you know about it plz let me know. Thanks and you can email me at carson946@yahoo.com

I have one of those. Belonged to my grandpa. My dad and uncles cussed it with every breath. Said gramps fed the hay in with a fork while the boys set blocks and punched wire through it. Seems that when they wanted to block it, gramps wanted to put in 4 more forks of hay. Dad said they weighed 130 lbs and they couldn't lift them. I am thinking of restoring it, but don't know anything about it.

Gramps said his had a pickup for it, but they did not have a side delivery rake , so he took it off and shocked the hay, then dragged it on a pole to where they were baling at.

Have no clue about worth. I did see one that was restored to mint condition. The guy claimed he got 12,000 for it from a Case collector. Would seem to me it is worth scrap price. The one I have is sitting under a big tree all grown up right where gramps unhooked it in 1956. The tree wasn't near as big then.

I don't think the one of gramps's is hardly that old. May not even be exactly like that one. It is a Case, but is still in the weeds by that big tree and I haven't even seen it in three or four years. The next time I am over there I will see if I can find any info on it.
