Hey you guys the reason for CULTIVISION is I-H found out about ALLIS-CHALMERS having a new tractor on test and copied to some extent the bell housing design. Got in trouble because of it and thought by calling their tractors models A and B CULTIVISION they would slip by but it didnt work and I-H had to pay ALLIS. This has been printed in several articles over the years check it out.

One day someone at IH said "We need a fancy name for this offset seating that we have on these tractors!" So their marketing department came up with "Cultivision".

It's a marketing/sales slogan, and nothing more.

MikeCa: The seating is NOT offset; the tractor IS offset. mike durhan

What all have said is correct; ALL Farmall A's have it. "Cultivision" is the moniker IH gave to the offset design of the A. mike durhan

No difference, not even the decals.

As has been said many times before, Cultivision is a FEATURE, not an option. It refers to the offset operator's platform on the Cub, A, B, Super A, 100, 130, and 140, giving the operator a clear view of the row he/she is cultivating as it passes underneath the tractor.

As the others have said its the same tractor other then the decals. I think it was a selling point for both the As and the Bs just something to add to make them sell better

I'm no expert, but I've been told the only difference is decals, at least this is true for the Farmall B. Seems it's a matter of personal preference.

Prices can be anywhere from 1200 to 3000 depending on what was done and the paint job, tires etc. I paid 800 for a "restored" A and now have over 1500 and still going strong. (I knew what I was getting into") i PLAN TO END UP WITH at least 2200 but it is exactly what I wanted. Worth is in the eyes of the beholder.
