Would like to know if some may know where I can purchase a tool to install pistons with new rings

Ya, those are easy to come by. Get a ridged one, they install MUCH easier! And use a wooden handled hammer or a non maring hammer to tap top of piston in and lots of oil in cylinder and around piston rings.

You might wanna get a valve lapping tool too they are $10 or so. It looks like a hand crank with gear box and a pole sticking out. Get some lapping compound too and follow the directions. It will clean and reseat the valves. Even if NEW valves they should be seated no seal is perfect nor is any surface no matter how well machined. SO this makes the two fit proper. I nver do a piston job without atleast inspecting the valves. After all you drop a valve the piston may be dust defeating the whole point. Plus vavle can cause blowby loosing compresion and power. Take your time do it right. Nothing simper to learn on then a 4 storke tractor motor (well 2 storke chainsaw is).

Most of all have fun doing it. Dont look at it like a chore, youll have a nice engine when done.

I'm not sure where you can get them, but I'd think you could probably get one from a parts store.

They are called ring compressors, and are available form most any auto parts store. Make sure you get one that will go small enough for the cub piston.
