No, nobody passed or got hurt real bad or anything, except my heart. For many years now I have known the location of a somewhat famous tractor. Its seen in CH Wendals 150 Years OF IH, page 310, the one in Sandy Springs,SC running a saw mill. For years now I have been after the owner to sell it to me, or at the least park it in the shed it was parked next to. I found out last night it has been sold.He didnt recall the guys name, but thinks he was from around here. What upsets me the most is that he never once offered it to me, and always told me he wanted to restore it, or some other excuse for not selling it to me or anyone else who asked, but why now, Ill never know as I was too mad, or upset, or heartbroken to continue the conversation with the man.So guys, if you know someone in the area around the upstste of SC who just bought a Farmall F20 that had a tree grew up in front of the rear axle, please, please take care of it and dont part it out. I know it is in some what sad shape, but it deserves to be preserved.
