Hi all, When I have the PTO lever dis-ingauged, the PTO still spins. With the mower belt hooked up, it does not do this. Also, when the rear 3pt is engaged and in the up position, it will not go into gear - "grind them until you find them", I have to lower the hitch or turn off, put into gear the re-start. I'm thinking clutch needs adjusted or bad throw out?. Thanks for the help!

Mine does the same thing, has every since I got it, and when I rebuilt the pto so I just keep the belt on it.CAnt help on the gear shift because I dont have one, but sounds like maybe, and Im just guessing that the tranny fluid is borderline full and having the 3pt up, make s the fluid level too low and wont let the gears wind down fast enough to shift properly.

I guess I should have said 3pt not shifter, of course I have a shifter, just not a 3point.
