Got the Model 100 Manure Spreader Home

After working on this deal for over a year I finally got the 100 spreader home. It is so well preserved that I can hardly believe it. Been in the shed all its life and used very little and was surely cleaned up after each use. Tires were still up and blue paint still very visible on apron chain cleats and axle hubs. Washed it all up and lubricated and hooked to the Super A and took a trip around the place. People think I'm full of it most of the time so figured I may as well have a way to spread it. Just took it out to the show grounds for our show this week. Anyone know how many of these little guys were made/ Never seen one in my days in Iowa. Where is this buying disease gonna stop? Wife was gone most of the week so .... Cute little thing so I had to have it. Migraine

migraine, I don't know anything about the 100, but I do know a little about that buying disease you may have. There is no cure for it. I have on my mind that I need a complete set of implements for every old tractor I have. If I see something I don't have I just have to have it if possible. If I ever win the lottery I will likely waste it on tractors and farming. I know a guy in Winchester, Ky that won 9 million on the lottery and that is what he is doing. Said he could farm in style now. My wife is almost over the pain and suffering of the disease.

Here's a picure of our spreader working a pile of manure left over from wintering a hand full of herefords. Pictured is my two oldest boys and our super H and our loader tractor. Makes for a fun day with many loads across the pastures. Would love to see some pic's of your speader.

Those little 100's are cute. Glad to see you have red iron in 'work clothes' and still working. Thanks for sharing that photo w/us...all except that blue thing. My late dad and I never did like the blue.

And next you're gonna tell us that it has the shields over all the gears.

If so . . .

I'm a red guy at heart, but I'm green with envy.

I have one sittin' out back that's fully functional, but suffers from a rattle can restoration and a lack of shields.

I've got a few things to touch up on the BN restoration before I make it the next project.
