I have a 1950 that I plan to restore. Just used it this last week to bale 10 acres of hay. What a fun tractor.

I don't have a MD, but my Dad used to have one with a DU-AL 250 loader and rear dual wheels. He does not have that tractor anymore, but he still has the loader that he will use on his SMTA. I have a 1943 Farmall H and a 1949 John Deere A, my Dad has a 1954 Farmall Super M-TA, 1956 Farmall 300, 1933 Farmall F-12, 1944 John Deere B, and a 1941 John Deere B (This 1941 is the 168th one made in 1941). And my 2 year old brother has a 1936 Farmall F-12.

Still have dad's SMD, purchased new in August 52, 30 years ago it had 18000 hours on it when it was repainted after complete overhaul of engine, tranny and diff. Also have a MD painted and they are sitting together in the shed.

I have a 1949 that I bought and completely restored about 5 years ago. The MD taught me a lesson on how much money you can spend on a complete restoration job. Roger

I have a early 52 that we just got done restoring. Well actually its my grandsons since I bought it for him.The M series was a special tractor and the MD is just a little unique. When you think of the engineering that went into the gas start diesels in the 40's its pretty cool.

I have a 47 MD like it and I would not sell it for a million bucks. Last tractor grandpa and I worked on together

Here it is parked in front of my buddies machine shed. It is hooked to a 12ft field cultivator.

yes, im going to fix it. i had storm damage done to my shop and it is now fixed. now im just waiting for my 30X50 quansit to get her new roof put on so i can clear out my garage. once the garage is clean then i will be able to put in the new cam gear. (just a guess) when i get to it if it is too much for me i will just have to pay a guy i know the money to fix it. I am really excited to get her going as i have a 600 gallon diesel barrle full of amaco premire diesel that she will burn. i will be able to rest my gasser(m) and the super h i have. I cant wait to use the nine speed. Plus if i have to run my generator i can use it in high range then i wont have to let the md screem wide open to get 540 rpm's out of her. My generator puts out 105 amp. That would run everything i own and then sum. I just gotta take things slow when i do take it apart and i will have it on film so in case i forget, i can look at the tape. jonnny2006
