does anyone have a picture of what the handle for the M&W 9 speed looks like. it's the one you pull to engauge the high-side of the tranny.any help would be greatly appreciated. that is the only part we are missing on that M

i have a m@w 9 speed on my MD. it is the knob style but it is not a cable on top of the cover but goes thru the right side of the tranny in just ahead and below the brakes. i know where there is a m@w 9 speed cable type. engine is stuck

Here is a picture of the Hiesler 9 speed control lever on my '48 M. (The lever next to the clutch pedal).The M&W 9 speeds use a cable system to engage the high side.

I have never seen either one, but I thought the M&W had a shift lever and the Heisler a cable.

Help me out some,I'm kind of slow. Do you want what the knob looks like on cable or rod shifter, or shift lever on outside of transmission housing that goes on shifter shaft?
