They pop up on Ebay from time to time. Someone parted out a 154 just a few weeks ago, offered the complete 3 point on there.

But you're right, they are fairly scarce. Found a ratty 184 w/3PH a coupla weeks ago that might make a good parts tractor. Haven't been able to find the owner yet though, to dicker on it.

Judging by the amount of sludge on the mower deck and frame, it's either got a nasty hydraulic leak or a bad rear seal.

They pop up on E Bay from time to time but bring a HECK of a price!

I've tried to buy three off E Bay so far and just get weak kneed before I'll bid enough to get one. So far $600 wouldn't get it done.

My 154 has all the bracketry and the cylinder in place but is missing the lower arms, rockshaft and links. I'm about ready to give up and buy some suitable replacement links from Tractor Supply and manufacture the rockshaft and links. It would be much cheaper.

Factory 3 points are the same on 154, 185 and 184 numbered Cub Lo Boys, but you"ll need either an original selector valve to divert the hydraulics to the 3 point, from the "belly" cylinder that lifts the mower deck...or an aftermarket valve.

The OEM selecter valve mounts under the cover, in front of the seat (it"s a push/pull valve). Probably already a knockout there for it. CNH may still offer them, not sure?

I'll have to go out and look at mine. I've wondered what kept both cylinders from working at the same time. Never noticed the extra valve, but didn't know to look for it. I'm assuming mine is factory so it should be there.
