I forgot to to check the manual before I left for work - what spark plugs/number are recommended for a a Farmall 350?

Second question, what would cause a 350 to start missing when it got good and warmed up (operating temp). I was running my 350 on a brush hog last night and all was fine until the temp guage hit 200 (took about 20 minutes to get that warm), then it started to miss and cut out under load. Thought I was running it out of fuel and shut it down for 20 minutes while I refilled. It ran fine until it got back up to 200 then started to miss again.

Currently I know I have the wrong plugs in (Bosch platnums installed out of desperation a year ago when it turned out the carb was running way way to rich - was fuel fouling the plugs). Is it possible its now running too lean? Very seldom does this tractor get worked hard enough to hit operating temp range so when the carb was finally adjusted would having it set too lean cause it to miss when hot but run fine when cold?

Right now I'm guessing on the plugs because I know those are wrong and should be replaced with the correct ones anyway.

Autolite 386 will give better over-all performance than those Champions.

My ih 444 did that when I bought it, took me a week or better to get it up to those temps as well on a nice hot day. I thought it was the plugs as well, so i changed them and the wires. It did not solve the problem, but made her start up right away. The next time I stalled it like that, I looked a little closer and found the ignition coil was bad (leaking the oil it has to cool itself) I replaced it and never had a problem again

Sorry I couldn't give you your plug numbers, but I would look into the coil for the stalling problem when hot

I don't think its the coil, that was one of the (many) things that got replaced when I was having the problem with fuel fouling the plugs. It has the correct unit with the external resister.
