Mornin' Guys,

My little tractor is in town getting a new engine, so I've been using this old brute under the loader to clean all the corrals, move manure and get ready for winter feeding again.

That old rascal sure makes short work of it! :>)

Allan we didn't know what a good loader was for many years as we used a pitch fork until we upgraded to an old Freeman 2000 trip bucket loader. It was an improvement over the fork, but not too much. I finally bought an Allied 585 with a 84 inch bucket in 1996 and man what a difference that was. I don't see how we got by so long without one. I have it on the 666 now. Which engine do you find for your tractor or are you just rebuilding the one it had?

They are just rebuilding the one that was in it.

I told 'em to do whatever it takes; just make it right and don't hold back on account of me.

Says he's just gonna ring it, put in some fresh bearings and a set of lifters 'cause it all looks good in there.

Lookin' good Allan. Nothing beats some horeses and weight behind a loader when cleaning manure, especially pen packed. You should see the rig parked here right now. Its my cousin's TV145 with custom built grapple. He uses that and old dump trucks for a custom manure hauling business. Can he ever pick a bunch of sh*t with that ting!

I've never used a bucket that big to load manure before. Sure doesn't take long to fill that Power box.

Maybe those old F-10s with the narrow-fork head weren't that hot after all? :>)

Hayfarmer, that was great. Maybe that is why you don't hear of a cow-chip toss, it would have to be a team event :^)

Yeah,

Something like that. :>)

It just dawns on me too that I've only ran one tankful of fuel thru 'er since I bought it last fall.

Really think I've more tractor here than I really need. What's that saying? Men and their toys? :>(

No such thing as too many tractors or too much power.
