I found a parts drawing of the IH fast hitch to 3 point adapter. It can be found by going to the Case IH Website at www.caseih.com/index. When you get there you can click on "United States". On that screen click on "Search for Parts". Click on Begin your search for parts "right here" on that screen. Type in "FARMALL" and click on search button. Click on "400 series farmall gas tractors", then click on "attachments". Then finally click on "442 Three Point Adapter. I may try to post a picture if I figure it out.

I want to add that the fast hitch was designed to carry the weight of the implement without a 3rd link. I don't think the design would have been heavy for some of today's heavy implements. Thanks Hugh, for posting the picture.

AllanRogis,

Is there a need for a top link in this application? Seems as if a heavy implement may cause the tongs to break. Although this is exactly what I need for I am in the search of 3 pt tongs.

Butch

It is built pretty heavy, it does handle 3 point rotary cutters, 4 row cultivators, and 8' blades. I use a 3 point hitch quick hitch with the straight fast hitch points for my 8 row cultivator when I used to cultivate. I installed the 3rd link on the rockshaft assembly to use the quick hitch. I had to weld heavy steel with holes drilled 5" below the regular holes in the quick hitch assembly.
