For those of you who might need a replacement tachometer cable and are annoyed that you have to buy the whole assembly when all you need is the cable, contact www.speedometersolutions.com

They need the overall length and the dimensions of the ends and any collars etc. Two day turnaround.

I just got a replacement for my IH 484 for $8.50 plus UPS shipping.

Thanks for the info Bob . I need a speedo cable for my 1924 Oldsmobile and was at a loss as to where I was ever going to find one since the ends are large dia and different sizes. Maybe they can make one up.

And in a thread about decals, several companies are mentioned as to which one is better for getting the right decal. Maybe you should report them to posting police.

The mention of price was so people could compare the usual cost, $30+ for a replacement cable with the cost of just the cable not the entire assembly.

This looks like an add to me, I allready put it up on the Site comments board. Especially suspicious is the "$8.50 plus UPS shipping and handling"

Well since I have no financial interest in the company and was motivated only by the desire to pass on the information to other people as to where they could go for replacement parts for their tractors, I would say it was NOT an ad.

And add is what one does with two numbers, ad is what one places in a news paper.
