Anybody give a hoot about IH pickups? I am helping with the clean up of a place that has at least three of them, all mid-sixties. One 2wd, one 4wd, and one Travelall. Just thought I might mention it, they are in danger of being scrapped.

Andy are you the one I got pictures for last spring.

There are a few old IH pickups around here. I'll check them out for you if want me to.

Gary

Yes, that would be great! Yes, I did ask for pictures of the steering setup for the IH truck. You can send me an email.

Andy.

We are in the market for a pickup from about that time frame or a little earlier but it would need to be pretty darn close to SE Michigan. I am turning in the F-150 tomorrow and leasing something small to use as a driver. I'd like to have a truck around that we could use a couple times a month to haul grain and bales. Something old enough that I can look under the hood and recognize what I see.

Well Keith, I didn't want to sound too much like a for sale post, but yeah, it is. They are in central NE, about five minutes off I-80, and scrap price will buy them. Have been sending the dead cars and junk surrounding them to China, just wondered if someone could use them.

Got any steering shaft for a IH 200 truck? We need one VERY BADLY. My Dad bought a IH 200 truck in May and someone put in a Char-Lynn torque generator from a tractor in it and it did not fit in there well and it had wimpy couplers on it. Now we have been looking all over for a shaft with no luck. We can't even use the truck until we have a shaft. It runs great. The steering shaft might be the same in one of those IH trucks.
