Which do you guys prefer? Tractor is a 560 with a straight drawbar. Any experiences with a Cornhusker brand 3-pt? Think a used one is worth $600? My main problem with a Fast-Hitch is that most of them are so worn out from pulling trailer-type hitch implements. I just can't see why the fast hitch on these larger tractors seems to be so desirable anymore, as large fast hitch implements are mostly obsolete.

I myself would go with the fast hitch. I haven't seen an aftermarket 3pt setup that I really "liked". They all look like they will work for most stuff, but none are as heavy as I think they should be. The Saginaw one looks pretty good, but kinda pricey I think. With a little work a worn out fast hitch can be fixed up pretty well actually, especially if you have access some metal working equipment. I realize that not every one does though. The good thing about a fast hitch, in my opinion, is you have some draft control for plowing or ground working implements. Not real good draft control, but some draft control. At the local auctions around here fast hitch stuff usually goes pretty cheap because no one can, or doesn't want to, use it anymore.

I saw a 560 on a sale once that someone had made into a three point by using the rockshaft and cylinder from the fast hitch and attached lower three point arms to threaded holes on either side of the pto that were originally used for the fast hitch. It looked like it would have worked pretty well cleaner and more compact than an add on three point, but a standard drawbar for drawn implements would need to be added.

the thing is that if you can find a fast hitch for cheaper they can be converted to three point then if you have a fast hitch impliment you can take the three point arms out and use the fasthitch for them
