Where do you guys get new rod bolts and locks.

Your IH dealer will have them. Be warned, those sheet metal locks are pricey. Don't know about the bolts $$$.

You can try Napa auto parts to see if they have
connecting rod bolts. Case/IH may have them too.
I would use self-locking nuts. They used them on some of the A's, B's and C's. Hal
PS: The military used of lot of "Pal" nuts and safety wire on their engines.

Yes connecting rod bolts and the sheet metal bolt lock that you have to pound up against the head of the bolt.IH cost is what you would pay for a formula 1 race engine.

All of mine are laced or have cotters pins in them. The main caps have the sheet metal bend over locks on them.
