I"m looking at an old 1943 H. 6volt, straight tin, 1 set of wheel weights, lightbar toolbox, lights, swinging drawbar. Has the huge shock absorber seat, no belt pulley.

Paint is mostly gone with surface rust, tires hold air but will need replaced. Front rims shot. Seems to run good.

What"s this worth?

Michael, Was wondering where you are in NE Ia? I grew up in NE Ia. around Riceville. Dad sold out in '69 and our '43 H was part of the sale. I just wonder??? It had cut off rear hubs (Had been on steel at one time) and 36" rears, I don't have the serial #.

Hey, Riceville is quite a way north and west from me. I"m over on the mighty Mississippi. This H has the correct cast centers with rims, not the older cutoff style. Of course they made a ton of H"s.

Bad tires is a big subtraction. No paint is either rattle can (cheap) or a lot more if you want it like the show room. I am with Allan, go low.

Saw a '39 or '40 yesterday that the guy had just bought; said he gave $500 for it.

Just needed paint.

I guess it's a matter of what someone would pay. Sound like a 600-1000 dollar H to me.
