I'm having a little trouble with my rebuild and was hoping someone could help me out. I believe I may have gotten 450 bearings instead of M bearings Heres the rod bearing numbers RP-356958R11 and CLE 060703. These are Rod bearing that are .030 and are Clevite bearings from red power. I would also like to know what the part numbers for Farmall M and 450 Main Bearing that are .020. Thanks Mike

You need bearings for the M. The 450 crankshaft is .050 larger than the M. You can grind a worn 450 to .050 and use standard M bearings to get more life out of them

I had the crank to a machine shop and he said that the mains are .20 and the rods are .30 which I bought bearings for both, but when I put my crank in I have a large amount of slop. I'm hopeing that when I bought engine parts I got the rods and mains for a 450. I thinkning this because I ordered 450 pistons and sleeves and had my block bored.

All I can tell you is early M had different rod and main brgs. than the Super M,400 and 450. Could be you need the early brgs.

You need to contact this web site for Clevite dealer in your area. They can provide the info that are seeking. Call your local Case/IH dealer
on the .020" undersize bearings. You need to have that crankshaft measured to see which bearings are required. Your local auto machine shop can get the correct bearings. You don't want to be guessing. Hal
