Welder won't work off pto. Not enough rpms. I hooked a 110 ac generater on H with 8in. sproket and no juice.Might work off belt pully because speed is approx. 2600 rpms against about 560 on pto. Nice set up on the M. Buck E

Can't say for sure without looking at tractor, but in picture it looks to me like regular IH type disc brakes. If tractor is a high enough serial # 1952 model they would be original.

You are correct, My dad was under the impression that all disk brakes were Osco-Lambert. Thanks to an old engineer from IH that I discussed it with (he was on tha brake design team sorry to say) I was corrected. JimN

I like the welder you have on there. I have a SH and a 180 amp Lincoln welder with a bad wisconsin engine. I was thinking about rigging it up like you have, but it's not going to fit because of the loader. Wonder if I can run the welder off the rear pto.

see how many rpm the generator runs at. you could belt the welder up to the pto to increase the rpm as necessary. big pulley on the pto to a small pulley on the welder.
