Not sure about the M.

That said, if it's otherwise a straight serial number, it will be a SuperC. You can verify that most easily by looking at the pedals. Cs, the pedals were straight. SuperCs, they had a crook in them. There are other differences, but that is, to my eye, the most obvious.

Serial numbers on the Cs only went a little higher than 80,000.

Chassis and engine serial numbers did not necessarily match on the SuperCs, but at most they were usually only off by about 2,000 or so. On my '51 SuperC, the chassis ser# is about 1300 higher than that of the engine.

From the numbers in Guy Fay's Data Book for the letter series, that makes it hard to nail yours down exactly, but I'd guess it's a late '53 or early '54.

She's a ittle faded and the muffler is rusty, but this one looks in pretty good shape.

From the Tractor Photos link at the left of this page. Poke around there and I'll wager yu'll find some shiny ones, NF and WFEs. I'd look more, but the Search function doesn't work on that section. 8^(

NO, there is a French made C, but it's not likely that yours is it.

Again relying on Guy's book, 21.67hp at the drawbar, 24.45 on the belt pulley.

Mike, would you please leave the flashing lights off your posts? I come here to read not to look at decorations.

FC is a C or Super C. I can't find a reference for FCM in Guy Fay's Letter Series book.

FCM is the negine serial number. "M" is for motor generally.
