Do Industrial M tractors have more power or are they just painted yellow? I may have an industrial M.

I have an ''industrial'' Super M.Its not an industrial tractor so much in that it came painted yellow and was ordered in without hydraulics of any kind, nor a belt pulley. It was used to broom runways at the Air Force base.

I don't think that special indusrial versions of the H OR M were made, like the Farmall A.The decaling would be the same, and if enough were ordered in one lot,IH would have painted them any color of the customers choosing.

The industrial equivilent of the Farmall M was the International I-6 or ID-6 if diesel. There were some industrial International M's built for special applications. They had International on the front instead of the McCormick or McCormick Deering nameplate amd some had rear axles like the I & W models, but, some had the Farmall type rear axles. Most were sold for making special applications such as road graders or road rollers but a few were probably sold as complete tractors to be modified later.

IH had a conversion package to do a field change of a Farmall M over to an industrial. It was a decal for each side of the hood and a nameplate for the front, all said "International".

I've never heard of an M Industrial - I'm pretty sure all industrial models were standard tractors like the W-4, W-6, and so on. What makes you think it's an Industrial?

Same engine, same HP. What makes you think you have one?
