Found a starter tank! Well, I always knew where it was. On my old '46 H. But I talked to my BIL, and I'm going to rebuild his carb in trade for the tank. I took my own carb apart, cleaned it, put it back together with new gaskets. So now I'm a carb expert. By the way, I have no idea if it works yet or not third party image
I watched a nice tank just sell on Ebay for $130. third party image I wish I could find a pile of them in a barn! I'd have this tractor done in a month!

Eventually. It's going to be a little while before I hook up the tank since I have to rewire the tractor to make the room. They wired the VR on a plate they installed right where the tank goes. So that's gotta move.

My friend, I have found a field full of them at the junk yard. MD's were popular in this area. Unfortunately H's are few and far between.
