Where is a good place to hookup my cab heater. I was hoping for a plug near the water pump, so I could pump warm water up there right away, but there is not a plug that I see. I might try to T off the temp. gauge sensor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Up on the thermostat housing there should be a plug you can take out for the heat side and return too a plug at the back off the block.

I did it the way you said, but at times I don't get any heat, then its warm, then cool again. Maybe this is all the better I am going to get. I was working the 806, pulling 5-16 plow, the temp gauge reads about right in the middle when I am working it. I made sure the raidator was full too. I guess a little heat is better than none. Thanks tractor vet.

I think that the return line going into the oil cooler is to small to allow good flow thru the heater . And at the moment i am drawen a blank on where else to put the return . IF i get out to the frm this afternoon i'll look at mine but mine is a early 806 and there are some changes between it and the ones that came out in late 64 or 65 not sure on the date of the changes . But since i have never had a cab on one and all i have ever installed are the block heater i may be tellen ya wrong.
