Couldn't say what the diffference in price is, Dave, from source to source. I've got one on each tractor and have not been real happy with the quality of the switch in them. It clicks right in for the white light position, but doesn't click well for the red. I have to kind of turn it to find the point for red, and it turns stiffly enough to stay there. I've tinkered with tightening and loosening the nut that holds the stem of the switch to the shroud, but it doesn't seem to make any difference and, by the design of it, shouldn't anyway. It works, just not the way I'd expect it to. Two small things. Not sure what you wound up with for a light switch/wiring in the 12v conversion, but the rear light is not affected by the dimmer on a four-position switch -- it stays on bright when it's on. That, and the red doesn't look like much in the light of day, but in the dark, that Guide lens does a pretty decent job of making a big round, if not necessarily bright, red spot at the rear for ya.
