Im starting to put it all back together and I have a manual for a C113, SA engine. Are the torque specs the same? If not, can anyone tell me the numbers for the mains, rods, cam plate, head and any other listings that are available from the correct IH manual for this model engine.

Thank You,

Thanks Hugh,

I just bolted up the bottom end and rods. I need to check the head and see which type it is. I noticed somethimg unusual or crooked about these red power pistons that I will post above to see if anyone can answer it. Its a rather long post.

Scott: I was planing on leaving this to one of the engine experts. There is an engine serial number split on these for the head bolts. Before engine 65000 - 65 ft lbs, same sequence as C-113. After 65000 80 to 90 ft lbs. The difference here is a 9 bolt head on the early ones and 14 bolt on later models. Going to take a better computer guy than me to lay out that 14 bolt sequence.

Rod nuts are 40-45 cotter pins and 43-40 self locking. Main bearings are 75 - 80.
