Gents, I am now qualified to answer all your tractor related questions.
It says so under my name. I am now a "Tractor expert". So go ahead, as away.

Strictly from a scientific point of view, it looks as if the monkey would have trouble kicking with his good leg while trying to balance on the point of his wooden leg. If he balanced on his good leg, he'd probably have better luck stomping on the pickle. But I'd be careful of this experiment. Animal rights people picked this one up in 1994, and it is now forbidden by federal law to use wooden-legged monkeys to take the seeds from dill pickles, under any conditions. Secondly, the EPA would send a SWAT team in to arrest you for polluting your driveway with pickle seeds (providing they measure more than 0.0015 mm. in thickness; smaller seeds are exempted). Customs and Border Protection would also quarantine you and the pickles for 40 days to make sure they weren't carrying some dreadful disease brought in from a furrin' country--unless you can prove the pickles had been in brine for at least six months,in which case you will be in the clear after appearing before a judge, in the presence of a federal prosecutor and the best attorney you can find in your state. A dated receipt from the grocery store is usually sufficient to have the charges dismissed.

How long would it take a monkey with a wooden leg to kick the seeds out of a dill pickle?

hmmm. Too many variables. How big is the pickle? What wood is the leg made out of? What's the pickle's diameter? How about the leg's? At what repetition velocity is the kicking being performed?

These are all very important peices of information us Tractor Experts need to contemplate such perplexing questions.

No no!! Not a guru. I'm a Tractor Expert. I didn't ask for the title, it was bestowed upon me by Yesterday's Tractor Company! I must live up to the standards!!

(p.s., anyone who is scratching their head at what this all means must be reading in the Classic View, which doesn't show the 'rank' under the name, like it does in Modern View)

So you are a tractor guru now? When I get done laughing I'll try and collect my thoughts enough to send you a congratulations.

But being as I only see myself as a novice and seeker of truth, it is good to know that there is a bonified "point of light" out there. Guy will probably also be glad to know he can go into retirement.

Kidding aside, I can vouch for your character. You are one and a pretty decent fellow as well!

P.S Those rods were shipped yesterday. Let me know if they were any good.

Dear Mike,
Believe it or not you do that which is most required. You listen, remember, question, own a tractor (thank goodness) and participate well. I am glad you are now on your way to guru status. JimN
