To all our American friends south of the border Happy Thanksgiving. May you have a safe and happy holliday. If the wind swings in south west here tomorrow, I expect we'll be able to pick up on the aroma of turkey cooking.

By the way, we'll try and keep that SNOW blowing in here in the morning, from crossing, making your motoring more pleasant. I was just watching the weatherman, and he tells us this is not one of those lake effect snow storms blowing in from Saginaw MI, thus we'll not blame this one on Paul.

Happy Thanksgiving Hugh, The very best to you and Marg and the rest of the family, along with all the guys on YT !!! That means you too Jimmy :")

Things have changed around here in the past few days ! Tuesday mornin at work I was told that my services as a toolmaker were no longer needed ! So I guess Im temporarily retired. Been doing this for the last 35 years, same trade, so staying home in the mornin is going to be a bit different !

Anyway, keep in touch and enjoy the holidays !

Happy Thanksgiving to yall from me as well. I spending it with my mom, sister and a friend or two. Just found out about ten minutes ago that I am now an uncle. Which means I have a niece to spoil. I'm pretty thankful for that as well.

And to you and others as well, a Happy Thanksgiving. To John T. that is wonderful, moving music in your link. To Paul, I'm sorry you won't be with your family, especially your dad...mine dad passed last March 13 and I don't know what I will do tomorrow. Hugh...a belated Canadian Thanksgiving to you, as O Canada land celebrated the second Monday in October, your first in the new 'old' farmhouse.

Hugh, heres wishing you and your family a great Thanksgiving also. This will be a strange one for me. After heart surgery my Pop suffered brain damage and is in a nursing home this year and I have to work and won't be with my family. With that being said, I am blessed and a very lucky man. I just miss my dad. We all have so much to be thankful for.
Paul

As a Canadian, we celebrated our Thanksgiving some weeks ago but somehow the American version seems more like the real thing. An eventful year for us. I had surgery for prostate cancer in March (which appears to be successful) and we lost My dad and my wife's mum in August. Both had had long and interesting lives so in spite of the loss, we have much to be thankful for.

Happy holiday to all of you. You feel like family!
