Lance: You have good instructions, all of those C-113, C-123 and C-135 had No.1 plug wire going to the top right terminal looking at cap from back of tractor. Just mesh the distributor gears with rotor pointing in that position, while engine is on TDC, compression.

#1 is at the FRONT, nearest the radiator.

Bring #1 up on cmpression stroke... you can feel the air being forced out if you SLOWLY crank it with your finger OVER the spark plug hole.

Between the point where air quits being forced out, and the point where you feel suction is TDC, the approximate location when the breaker points should JUST BEGIN to open to fire that (#1) cylinder.

If one of the high-tension terminnals is marked #1, use that terminal, otherwise any of the high-tension terminals will do, as long as you have the rotor pointing to that terminal, and the points JUST BEGINNING to open.

Then, arrange the remaining 3 wires, in firing order, following the #1 terminal, in the direction the distributor (rotor) turns.

That should be close enough to get it started, then touch up the timing using a timing light.
