Archive problem

I know folks get tired of answering questions over and over, so I am trying to search the archives first. I was looking for access to a parts manual for a Super H. When I ask it to search for "parts manual" and specify the farmall forum, it always switches to a search of the entire site, and all I get are articles on White tractors. what am I doing wrong?

PS shoulder surgery went OK. Left arm is in a sling but pain meds are making it tolerable.

I dunno, worked for me, got 4 hits. First select 'archives' from the message list page. You should get a page full of numbers. Look at the heading 'keyword search' click there. DO NOT put anything in the search box in upperright hand corner. Now you should have a screen that allows entry of keyword AND 'which forums do you want to search' Gordo

I found the original reprints from Binder Books to be very good and reasonably priced.www.binderbooks.com.

i just ordered about $60.00 of books from binder and was trying to protect the bank account. i bought the clutch service manual, the clutch adjustment manual and finally the H engine and chassis service manual. i have an original H owners manual and the IT manual. thought i had better make do for now. dang its hard to type one handed! Bib overalls make a good sling though. I will search a little more and look at the case/IH site

I never have much luck when I try the archives. No matter how much I attempt to be specific I always end up with a bunch of unrelated trash

enter farmall in the box
Select the tractor and then the parts area you need. JimN
