Note the tired MV on Ebay ( #150190869305 ). This poor old lady is almost up to $3000 and about everything but the engine has been cracked and welded. I don't see anyway you could restore this without buying another one with good castings which would hardly make sence. All of the High Crop components need replacement.

In the springtime I was at an old farm sale, and the rough running H there brought $1200. Not bought by family either, which I think was a shame. It was a working small farm(and I mean Small! the H was the main tractor) up until the man died. His other tractor a 464 gas sold for $2100.

Different people have a different concept of what is acceptable.

I just don't want welds to be cracked, and have the castings fit right.

I rather have the right date code on a repaired casting than a cobbled together mess of various date codes.

And then there are the guys that like pin striping and there are even some that want an HTA.

I'm glad we don't all like the same thing or the green guys would ahve all the Farmalls bought up. I'm still expecting the day when you can't buy a good H for less than $900. The running $300 ones are about all gone.

Careful there are no good running H's where I am for less than $900 let alone a $300 scrapper.
