One of the best bought it new in 1967 put a turbo on it and re worked the pump to about 130 horse and still use it today

They are about as BULLET PROOF as they can be , as for how much fuel that they will suck up depends on just what your doing with it it can sip fuel or it can suck it down . Back when they were built people were not that fuel concerned as today . As for my owen 806 diesel she has the wick turned up a bit and can suck down over five gallon and hour if you are working it hard .

I don't remember how the fuel consumption compared to other tractors, but we pulled a 16 foot field cultivator with 12" sweeps on it with ours, also used it on a big round baler, 914 pull type combine, etc. They are rated around 95 horses, but ours was turned up to around 110 or so.

Had about 24,000 hours on it when we sold it, one overhaul and one clutch since new - original TA. Ours was a wheatland/standard.

i pull a 14 foot brush hog with mine. handles it with no problem. does well on fuel. great tractor to run. john
