In the late 40 early 50 Farmall had a generator driven off the belt pully. They then drove a combine or bailer with an electric motor. Does any one know more about this?

The Electrall was first offered for sale during the summmer of '54. Only the SMTA, 400, 450, 560, 660 were capable of driving the side mount. Other tractors could use the fast hitch mount or trailer mount. They were also available on IH trucks.

Goto 'Tractor Photos' at the left and search on Electrall or Wardner. There is also plenty of material in the archives.

I don't know much more than they were called Electrall's. Try a google search on that. I would like to have one but they are pricey.
