I have been using the cub 124 this winter for snow blowing but the lift handle has gotten stuck. How does the thing come apart? Is there something I"m missing to get it working? I have given it the works with spray but it"s no help. I am getting quite tired of having to hold up the blower every time i back up. Any help would be great.

If the push button is stuck down and the Pawl stays out of the slots, I would take off the rubber handle and heat the lever with a propane torch. Then tapping on the button, and tapping up on the pawl, should begin to loosen it. It may take repeated heatings and maybe a bit of auto trans fluid to free it up. They can get bent. Then the whole lever needs to come off to be repaired. If the blower has assist springs, make sure they are working and adjusted. JimN
