I just picked up wooden letter signs one two of them are 6inches high single letters screwed to 1by1 saying INTERNATIONAL OTHER MC-DEERING. ORTHER TWO SAYING PARTS, SERVICE.they are 19 inches high and a IH emblem I know some of our older local dealers used to have them does any one know how old these are and what they are worth Thanks John

I'm guessing that dealers made their own wooden letters, maybe with patterns supplied by IH. The signs would make a nice display at out national show Red Power Roundup which will be held June 11-14 at Columbia MO

They sound like they might be the signs that were sometimes placed over the parts department counter in the dealership, probably from the 40's or 50's.
