Gotta love free market enterprise... It's a seller's market right now. If you've got it and want to use it, keep it. If you see it cheap buy it or you'll wish you had. If you don't have a need for it now, cash in while the market is hot.

Sounds morbid, but once all the old retired farmers start dying off in the next 10-15 years, there is going to be such a glut of collector tractor stuff on the market that the bottom is going to fall out.

Yes I think it is. I would be very leery of that tractor unless I could speak to the original owner and get confirmation of its authenticity. I wouldn't pay $25000 for a 966 that just rolled off the assembly line let alone that one. The 06 and 56 series were much better tractors than the 66 series.

Or, did you catch that auction on ebay for 10 100 lb weights that sold for $886? No bracket, no less?

Makes the $10 a piece a I gave for wheel weights a bargain. I'll let them go for $50 a piece now that I painted them IH red.

The wheel wieghts. Now that is another story.

The split IH weights or half weights, whatever you want to call them brought $195 for 4 halfs or one set.

The whole rounds brought $155 for a set of 2.
