I am going to be replacing my 656 front tires and was wondering if there is a Red Powder Coat that matches up with International Red or should I just sand blast them and then prime and paint?

Thanks

Joe

The Wisconsin Historical Society has custody of more IH records than I can comprehend. One of them has to do with decisions of the paint committee, which items were painted how.

Here's the link.

Perhaps that will give you some leads. Good luck,

Well I would prefer to Powder Coat but since no one has supplied be with the correct color choices my only option is to spray can them. There isn't enough painting required to buy and mix and shoot it out of a spray gun and the required clean to justify the trouble! If I were to paint the whole tractor I would do it with a spray gun but I know I can go to an automotive paint store and they could do the mixing for me, put it into cans and I am good to go!

That is probably what I will do. Since I am not doing the whole tractor is the paint available in spray cans?

Joe

PS. El Toro, is that meant to be Bull in Spanish or a reference to the town of El Toro in California? I grew up in Seal Beach, California so I am curious.
