CNKS said: Yes, both pressurized and non-pressurized H's and M's have thermostats.

How does a person know if their H is presurized or not? Especially when you've never had it running?

Go buy a pressurized radiator cap. Install it and see what happens. After that - unless you are lucky - go ahead and find out what is wrong and fix it.

A pressurized cap will not fit a non-pressurized radiator. Pressurized cap has tongs that fit on the outside of the filler neck, non-pressurized cap attaches to the inside of the neck.

Core is probably plugged-you should be able to cool an H with non-pressure radiator unless you are pulling the guts out of it. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

oil is not milky and it does not run hot until it circulates enough coolant out to be low could it still be a thermostat head gasket etc

Yes it could still be all of the things I said before because the head could be cracked in a way that water gets in to the combustion chamber and gets burned off same with the head gasket. An yes it could be the thermostat, because that only has to do with the cooling system. And it could also be a bad water pump

You have some sort of problem if its doing that. Thermostat maybe be bad, a bad head gasket or cracked head or even a bad water pump. Pluging the over flow with just cause you more problem and still not fix the real problem

Some do and some don't. All depends on the tractor and how it was made
