Wiring problem

I am being a little dense here and cannot get the issue resolved satisfactorily. I have a G Allis Chalmers that I have rebuilt. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to properly wire the Generator, the cut out, and the 3 position switch in the proper fashion. Does anyone either know the wiring diagram for this tractor is or have a site I can go to to get the wiring diagram. This is of course a positive ground tractor.

Second question: When properly wired and running, if you disconnect the battery, will the engine continue running?? (that is, is it supposed to continue to supply power to the coil?)

Tom,It should run,but this is not reconmended,if one cable is pulled a ground,or positive runs wild and could fry somthing.I seen this happen on a boat and all of the wiring hardness was fried instanctly

This forum is called Farmall/IHC, but if he can't get n answer on the AC board, he can post here or on Tractor Talk.

Tom was a regular poster on this forum for a long time -- he is just asking the people that know.
