Hey everyone, thanks again for all the well-wishes...

Tonight I need prayers for my baby girl... She was doing great and last night she had a small seizure, then a few hours later another one, and they kept getting closer together until it was every 20 minutes or so and lasting almost 3 minutes... They got her on some meds to stop the seizures and she was air-lifted by helicopter to the NIC-U in Flagstaff. She is doing fine on her meds tonight but we still need prayers to help us through this tough time. She never stopped breathing and her heart rate and oxygen levels stayed up just fine.

I had same type of seizures as a baby and was on meds for 6 weeks or so, we are hoping this is the same type of thing, hereditary maybe.

Hospital staff is awesome, caring, and very helpful. The cafeteria food is even really good.

I appreciate any prayers you can offer up to God for us. Whatever God brings us to, he will carry us through.

Steven, keep us updated. I have been thinking of you and your family ever since I saw the first post about problems the other day. Things will work out OK. I am confident. Best wishes and prayers are with you.

Kailee did great today! She was active for about an hour or so when the meds were wearing down, moving around and crying. So wonderful to hear her cry and to see her move.

IV came out and they couldn't get another one in so now she has a direct line through the umbilical cord. She seems much more content with this as there are no nerve endings to cause pain. They needed to put her on a little sniff of oxygen (0.05) since the meds relaxed her to occasional shallow breathing. She was sleeping peacefully when we left tonight, it was so hard for Mommy to leave but she needs rest for when we go home and don't have the wonderful nurses to help us.

Thank you all so much for the prayers, they have pulled us through this difficult time. Will keep you posted of any new developments as I have a chance.

They can do really great things these days. When our #2 son was less than a year old, we had him to so many doctors that we lost track. He got so skinny that people were afraid to hold him. He had a mis-rotation of the small intestine-food couldn't get through. Nowadays, the doctors would have it diagnosed overnight. If things aren't found pretty soon. don't overlook lactose intolerance-one of our grandchildren had it. He finally outgrew it. You have our prayers & thoughts.

Thank you, everyone, for the prayers. Kailee has been stable for 23 hours now without a seizure. We will be staying several days to wait for test results and to be sure she stays healthy. Your prayers from across the country (and the world) have given us the strength to pull through this.

Steven, you have both Shawn and my prayers. I kinda know how ya feel. Shawn was born having seizures, still has them to this day if his blood level of meds gets low. Hopefully your little one will out grow hers.,,, we'll pray for her.
