Where are points on A with IH magneto?

Where are the points on old A with Magneto?It's been a while but I think I looked behind the rotary cap last year and put it off till now. Need to get back at it.

If you have a H4 mag, this is how you do it. It can be done with the mag on the tractor, but it is easier with the mag off the tractor. Remove the cap and rotor. Remove the 3 screws holding the points cover on, and there they are.

Would suggest that you put no 1 tdc and make sure the rotor is on no 1 on the cap. This will give you a reference if you happen to turn the gears on the back of the cover plate.

Off with the cap, off with the rotor button, out with, I think three screws, and the cover will come off to reveal the points.

Just DO NOT remove the cover over the rotor drive gears, held on with TWO screws, unless you know how to re-time the little buggers!
