I think it is 5 quarts. Did you ever get that Farmall A for $550 you talked about a while back?

Assuming you have the oil pan with 2 petcocks, you should fill it until oil comes out the top petcock. 5 qts sound right. If you are new to tractors or to this tractor there is lots you should know and you should get an operators manual. It will help you in servicing your tractor. One thing you should know if you don't is that the oil in the air cleaner should be changed when you change your engine oil. Unscrew the thumb screw that holds the cup onto the bottom of the air cleaner, dump the old oil out and wipe the cup clean. Refill the cup with engine oil to the full line stamped into the cup.
