Allan,

On your pictures about the fan spacing on the engine your trying to put power steering on. How is the pulley attached to the crankshaft in front of the main pulley?

There is a "lip" on the inside of the outside edge of the ps pulley which goes over the main pulley.

Ya pull the crank pin (after loosening the setscrew), put the add-on pulley in place and then it is just a matter of replacing the pin to center and tightening the setscrew.

Engine torque along with the shoulders under the pin force it tight against/on the main pulley. .

I take that back, that is wrong. The pulley just goes over the nut, what holds the pulley in place is the short steel rod in the end of the crankshaft that the hand crank engages. There are a couple of nibs on the pulley that the steel rod catches to turn the pulley. See picture.

The end of the crankshaft is threaded and there is a large nut that holds the crank pulley in place. This nut is removed, the powersteering pulley slid on the end of the crank and the nut reinstalled.
